Dr. Yogisha

Dr. Yogisha brings 20 years of rich experience in various therapeutics areas mainly in Oncology, Inflammation, Diabetes, AD, Parkinson disease, Osteoporosis, Antibacterial, antifungal & antiviral discovery biology, ADME-PK, medicinal chemistry, and pharmacology to the team, having been associated with leading drug discovery organizations. Prior to this he was associated with various drug discovery programs to global pharma Viz., ELI Lilly, Merck, Astra Zeneca, J&J, Amgen, Endo, Orion Pharm, Progenera, Forest labs, NIH USA, NUS, ATCC, Chromodex, LGC. He holds his PhD degree from the University of Mysore, Karnataka, India.

As CEO, Dr. Yogisha has built Skanda Life Sciences from niche research models and services business to a full service, early-stage drug research partner to more than 30 of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies and academic institutions, as well as thousands of emerging and established biotechnology companies. Today, the Company offers a unique portfolio of services required to take a novel drug therapy from discovery through non-clinical development.

He has been involved in global sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, and R&D planning. In 2012, he founded the Skanda Life Sciences in Bangalore, India, with a passion for drug discovery. He was involved in several GPCR target programs and led interdisciplinary drug discovery teams and provided leadership programs in various therapeutic areas.
