She is a Senior Scientist with over 10 years of experience in the Cell and Molecular Biology Division at Skanda Life Sciences. Hemangee Damame, who serves as an in-house cell biologist, possessing skills in disease relevant cellular assay development and screening to identify and characterize the molecule-based mechanisms. Responsible for assessment of drug candidates for preclinical screening studies for discovery and development of new therapeutic agents in various types of diseases. Involved in developing new hypothesis, target-based assays and validation, project initiation, progression, drafting and execution of research plans. Skilled in Animal Cell Culture Techniques, Flow cytometry, ELISA assays, Cell based assays and Molecular Biology Techniques. She is always eager to learn new skills, explore new challenges, and contribute to the success and growth. She holds a PhD degree in the area of research Diabetes Mellitus from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India with publication-proven experience in studying the relationships among diabetes and its complications.
