Purushotham has an expertise in cell-based assays, gene regulation, and functional assays both in vitro and in vivo. He leads the Molecular Biology, cell biology, and Oncology platform utilizing high-throughput technologies at Skanda Life Sciences as a Senior Principal Scientist. Purushotham is responsible for designing and executing in vitro and in vivo experiments and for leading interdisciplinary drug discovery teams in various therapeutic areas including oncology, osteoporosis, CNS, AD, anti-microbials, inflammation, respiratory, and metabolic disorders. With an industrial experience in monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), protein biochemistry, proteomics, protein purification and characterization, HTS, enrichment and purification of low molecular weight plasma protein biomarkers, protein-ligand interactions, analytical techniques and chromatography, insulin signal transduction, cell-based assays, and animal cell culture, Purushotham plays a key role in advancing the field of drug discovery.
